The Westside Warriors will square off against the Tuckerman Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Westside comes in on five and Tuckerman on 12.
Westside is headed into the matchup having just posted their closest victory since April 11, 2024 on Wednesday. They won by a run and slipped past Brookland 4-3.
Mckyna Craig spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on six hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Westside's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Kimber Wynn, who went 3-for-4 with one run. Those three hits gave Wynn a new career-high. Vada Watkins was another, going 1-for-3 with two runs.
Meanwhile, Tuckerman's rock-solid pitchers showed up for the team's sixth consecutive shutout on Friday. They didn't even let West Memphis on the board, marking the Bulldogs' second-straight 15-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won 18 contests by seven runs or more so far this season.
Emma Davis looked comfortable as she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.
At the plate, Tuckerman got a massive performance out of Bristen Wheeler, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three stolen bases, and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Maddyx Soden, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI.
Tuckerman always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .567. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as West Memphis only posted an OBP of .154.
Tuckerman's victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 21-4. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.6 runs over those games. As for Westside, their victory bumped their record up to 18-6.
Westside suffered a grim 8-1 defeat to Tuckerman when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Will the Warriors have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
