After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Dunnellon, West Port was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They blew past the North Marion Colts 9-3. The result was nothing new for the Wolf Pack, who have now won nine contests by six runs or more so far this season.
Alena Ishman made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits.
