On Tuesday, Victory Christian Academy made easy work of the Warriors and carried off a 57-36 win. The win made it back-to-back wins for Victory Christian Academy.
Nelson Palacios was his usual excellent self, scoring 21 points along with three steals. He is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Christian Sutton was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with ten assists and two steals.
Several Warriors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Cason Amerson, who scored 14 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Amerson has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Ricky Smith, who scored nine points.
The victory got Victory Christian Academy back to even at 7-7. As for Corinth Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-12.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Victory Christian Academy and the Eagles will face off at 8:00 p.m. on February 2nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Brunswick Christian Academy is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. As for Corinth Christian Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the Warriors at 6:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Florida (Hart 2 Hart Academy is ranked 785th, while the Warriors are ranked 783rd).
