Basketball Recap: Cypress Falls Makes It Five in a Row on the Road

Cypress Falls won the last time they faced Stratford and things went their way on Saturday too. The Cypress Falls Eagles greeted the New Year with with a 54-35 win over the Stratford Spartans. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 94th, while the Spartans are ranked 485th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Cypress Falls' victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-4. As for Stratford, with the defeat, they broke their ten-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-8.
