Allentown won the last time they faced Matawan Regional and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Redbirds put the hurt on the Huskies with a sharp 7-1 win. The Redbirds might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by six runs or more this season.

Allentown pushed their record up to 9-7 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Matawan Regional, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-7.
