After having lost a blowout in their previous game against South Summit, the Delta Rabbits were happy to have found some success on Wednesday. They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 79-39 victory over Millard. With Delta ahead 41-21 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Among those leading the charge was Cai Henderson, who scored 23 points along with 6 rebounds and 4 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Delta's points. Tate Topham was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with 5 rebounds.
The victory got Delta back to even at 1-1. As for Millard, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Delta will be playing at home against Grantsville at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. Hopefully Grantsville focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 last Wednesday. As for Millard, they will head out on the road to face off against Emery at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
