Meanwhile, James Monroe took their contest at home on Friday with ease, bagging a 95-23 victory over Meadow Bridge. With James Monroe ahead 56-8 at the half, the match was all but over already.
James Monroe got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ryan Cole out in front who scored 29 points along with eight rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Cole has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Cooper Ridgeway, who scored 16 points along with nine assists and five steals.
Montcalm's loss dropped their record down to 2-1. As for James Monroe, their win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-1.
Montcalm was dealt a bruising 74-44 loss at the hands of James Monroe when the teams last played back in January. Thankfully for Montcalm, Eli Allen (who dropped a triple-double on 28 points, 11 rebounds, and ten assists) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
