The Easton Area Rovers will head out on the road to face off against the Stroudsburg Mountaineers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 75-34, which was the final score in Easton Area's tilt against Wilson on Saturday. Easton Area has not had much luck with Wilson recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Easton Area's defeat came about despite a quality game from Ryan Cornish, who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Algee Macon, who scored 8 points.
Meanwhile, Stroudsburg had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 64-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of Pocono Mountain East on Wednesday.
The losses dropped Easton Area to 2-2 and Wilson to 2-1.
Everything came up roses for Easton Area against Stroudsburg when the teams last played back in January of 2020 as the squad secured a 93-52 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Easton Area since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
