Mulberry has been struggling as of late, and they have yet to win a game this season. They and the Academy at the Lakes Wildcats finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw on Saturday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Panthers as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

Anthony Garcia and Edwin Bustemante scored both of Mulberry's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Mulberry's draw gives them a new season record of 0-6-1. Meanwhile, Academy at the Lakes' record is now 5-3-2.

Mulberry has already played their next matchup, a 4-3 loss against Lake Region on the 17th. As for Academy at the Lakes, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against North Tampa Christian Academy on the 19th.
