After four games on the road, Far Northeast W is heading back home. They will take on the Gateway Olympians at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
Far Northeast W suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They took a serious blow against Rangeview, falling 79-25. Far Northeast W was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-13.
Despite their loss, Far Northeast W saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Khalil Clark, who scored six points, was perhaps the best of all.
Meanwhile, even though Thornton scored an imposing 57 points on Monday, Gateway still came out on top. Gateway took down Thornton 76-57. The win made it back-to-back wins for Gateway.
Far Northeast W's loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Gateway, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-9.
Far Northeast W strolled past Gateway in their previous meeting back in January of 2023 by a score of 78-61. Does Far Northeast W have another victory up their sleeve, or will Gateway turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
