Troy won the last time they faced Ellison and things went their way on Friday too. The Trojans came out on top in a nail-biter against the Eagles, sneaking past 2-1.

Troy's offense was headlined by Skylar Workman and Shae Collier, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from Aubree Brashear and her 21 assists. Workman also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Cadence Negron, racking up three apiece.

Troy's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Ellison, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Troy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Non Varsity Opponent on the 16th. As for Ellison, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Rock Hill on the 16th.
