Despite the loss, Crisp Academy had strong showings from Tucker Ellenberg, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 14 rebounds, and Wilk Stephens, who dropped a double-double on 10 points and 14 rebounds. Ellenberg scored a full 26.7% of Crisp Academy's points, the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Reese Reed, who scored 5 points.
Crisp Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Georgia Christian, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
Crisp Academy won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against St. George's at 7:30 p.m. on December 5th. St. George's is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Georgia Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Echols County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
