Biloxi is 0-3 against Oak Grove since September of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Biloxi Indians will head out on the road to face off against the Oak Grove Warriors at 7:00 p.m. Biloxi will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Mississippi Rankings (they are ranked 50th, while Oak Grove is ranked first).
Last Thursday, while Biloxi put up plenty of points, the same can't be said for D'Iberville. Biloxi blew past D'Iberville 35-0 on the road. Biloxi might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won four contests by 20 points or more this season.
Jaylan Johnson and Zachary Marlin were among the main playmakers for Biloxi as the former gained 91 total yards and two touchdowns and the latter threw for 137 yards and three touchdowns. Jaquan Thompson got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Oak Grove didn't have too much trouble with Pearl at home two weeks ago as they won 31-13. The win made it back-to-back wins for Oak Grove.
Biloxi now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Oak Grove, their victory bumped their record up to 8-1.
Biloxi might still be hurting after the 28-7 defeat they got from Oak Grove in their previous matchup back in November of 2022. Can Biloxi avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
