The Seminole Chieftains will be playing at home against the Tecumseh Savages at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Seminole and seven for Tecumseh.
Seminole pushed their score all the way to 63 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Silo by a score of 66-63. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat Seminole has suffered yet this season.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Tecumseh, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 60-41 loss to Jones last Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Tecumseh can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 334th, while Jones is ranked 80th).
Seminole has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season. As for Tecumseh, they bumped their record down to 2-9 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.
Seminole came up short against Tecumseh when the teams last played back in February of 2023, falling 62-50. Will Seminole have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the match for a full breakdown of the game, commentary, and other basketball content.
