After having lost a blowout to Randolph/Frewsburg in their previous contest, Falconer/Cassadaga Valley were happy to find some success last Friday. Falconer/Cassadaga Valley strolled past Chautauqua Lake/Westfield with points to spare, taking the game 32-13. Senior Robbie Penhollow, who rushed for 144 yards and 3 touchdowns, was a major factor in Falconer/Cassadaga Valley's success.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Allegany-Limestone, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 19-37 loss to Portville.
Falconer/Cassadaga Valley's victory lifted them to 1-1 while Allegany-Limestone's loss dropped them down to 0-3. We'll find out if Falconer/Cassadaga Valley can add another positive mark to their record or if Allegany-Limestone can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Falconer/Cassadaga Valley's step.
