Lake Pointe Academy had a senior duo take command as Keagan Hiser posted 18 points and James Jacobs scored 15 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hiser has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Josh Morgan, who earned eight points.
Meanwhile, Richard Winn Academy waltzed into their game on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They managed a 36-31 victory over Newberry Academy. The 36-point effort marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.
Lake Pointe Academy better keep an eye on Charlie Bonds. He was instrumental in Richard Winn Academy's win, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 11 boards. Bonds is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Bennett Nicholson, who had eight points and three steals.
