In what's become a running theme this season, the Big Horn Rams gave their fans yet another huge win on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 60-40 margin over Sundance. The victory was nothing new for Big Horn as they're now sitting on three straight.
Big Horn's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Caleb Gibson led the charge by scoring 19 points along with five steals. Gibson is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last seven games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Adsit, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 14 rebounds.
Big Horn's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-5. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.3 points per game. As for Sundance, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-6.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Big Horn will stay at home for another game and welcome Wright at 6:00 p.m. on January 26th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Wyoming (Wright is ranked 13th, while Big Horn is ranked 25th). As for Sundance, Sundance and Moorcroft will face off at 6:30 p.m. on January 26th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
