South Range had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the seven-run drubbing they dealt Greenfield on Monday. The Raiders put the hurt on the Knights with a sharp 10-3 win. The Raiders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by seven runs or more this season.

South Range has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Greenfield, their loss dropped their record down to 14-4.

Coming up, South Range will look to defend their home field on Monday against Poland Seminary at 5:00 p.m. As for Greenfield, they will square off against Mercyhurst Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lakers will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something the Knights surely won't give up without a fight.
