At the plate, Jaylen Anderson was incredible, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Khylee Dade, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Rancho Verde's victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-3. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.2 runs over those games. As for Perris, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-9.
Tuesday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Perris has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .501. However, it's not like Rancho Verde struggles in that department as they've averaged .470. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
