Valor Christian had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They breezed past the Vista PEAK Prep Bison to the tune of 91-59 on Saturday. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 17 matchups by 20 points or more this season.
Peyton Jones continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, shooting 7-for-12 from long range and dropping a double-double with 35 points and ten rebounds. The contest was her fourth in a row with at least 19 points. Rylie Beers was another key player, shooting 67% from the field on her way to 16 points and five assists.
Valor Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in nine consecutive games.

Looking ahead, Valor Christian will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Doherty at 6:30 p.m. Valor Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 15 matchups -- so hopefully Doherty likes a good challenge.
