Softball Recap: Central Falls Has No Trouble Against Hope

Central Falls's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They blew past the Hope Blue Wave 15-3. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by 12 runs or more this season.

Central Falls let Chaelys Brito Acevedo and LC Collins run wild. Brito Acevedo fired off two home runs, three runs, and three RBI while going 2-for-2, while Collins went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most home runs Brito Acevedo has posted since back in April of 2024. Ja'Nayiah Levy was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI.

Central Falls always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .645. They are 4-1 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Central Falls' win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-5. As for Hope, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
