The Ord Chanticleers extended their postseason success on Friday against the Mitchell Tigers. They were the clear victor by a 47-21 margin over the Tigers. The win was nothing new for Ord as they're now sitting on eight straight.
Ord was led to victory by Dylan Hurlburt and Trent Mccain. Hurlburt threw for 191 yards and two touchdowns while completing 88.9% of his passes, while Mccain gained 245 total yards and four touchdowns. Mccain's longest reception was for an incredible 87 yards.
Ord's victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Mitchell, their loss dropped their record down to 8-3.
Ord will take on Yutan at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Yutan is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. Mitchell does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
