That was a full 70% of Miami Valley's points, marking the ninth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Naemah Nzeruem, who scored five points along with 14 rebounds.
Miami Valley's loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-9. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 28.7 points per game. As for Dayton Christian, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-10.
Miami Valley won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Emmanuel Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on February 7th. Emmanuel Christian Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Dayton Christian, they will head out on the road to square off against Greeneview at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Dayton Christian will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 619th, while Greeneview is ranked 305th).
