The Portville Panthers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 65-51 bruising from Frewsburg. If Portville was looking for revenge after losing 55-52 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Frewsburg to victory, but perhaps none more so than Teghan Trocki, who went 7 for 9 from beyond the arc en route to 21 points and 2 assists. Jadyn Trocki was another key contributor, scoring 20 points along with seven assists and two steals.
Portville dropped their record down to 7-4 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Frewsburg, the victory was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-2.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Randolph the next time they take the court. Frewsburg will head out to face Randolph at 7:30 p.m. on February 12th, while Portville will host them at 7:30 p.m. on February 15th.
