Amity Regional faced Woodstock Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Spartans were the clear victors by  a  3-0 margin over the Centaurs. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Spartans.

Amity Regional can attribute much of their success to  Alex Wyskiel, who  had eight  digs and four  aces. Those  four  aces gave  Wyskiel a new career-high.
 Wyskiel wasn't the only good servers: Amity Regional  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with ten  aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Woodstock Academy only  served seven.
Amity Regional's victory bumped their record up to 16-4. As for Woodstock Academy,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 13-7.
 Amity Regional does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Woodstock Academy, they will be taking part in a tournament against Waterford  at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
