Cooper Wittler Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
Starting off the list is Waverly's Cooper Wittler, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Friday Wittler rushed for 127 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Waverly's victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-2. Wittler and Waverly will challenge Plattsmouth on Friday.
