The Manor Mustangs''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They fell just short of Stony Point by a score of 19-16. Manor was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Stony Point apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2022.
Several Mustangs players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jayson Zardavets, who threw for 118 yards and two touchdowns.
Stony Point found their leader in underclassman Kinnick Kalbus, who threw for 225 yards and two touchdowns while completing 74.1% of his passes. Another player making a difference was Trystin Rimes, who picked up 161 receiving yards.
Manor has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Stony Point, their win bumped their record up to 5-5.
Manor does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Stony Point also has no future games currently scheduled.
