It was a good run, but Lanphier unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak dating back to last season on Saturday. They took a 45-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Decatur Eisenhower Panthers. The contest marked the Lions' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Decatur Eisenhower's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tishawn Clemmons, who posted 12 points and five steals. Clemmons is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Damonte Phillips, who had seven points and eight steals.

Having lost for the first time this season, Lanphier fell to 5-1. As for Decatur Eisenhower, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

Lanphier will face off against MacArthur at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lanphier is facing MacArthur at the right time seeing as MacArthur is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Decatur Eisenhower, they will host Sacred Heart-Griffin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
