There's no place like home for the Meek Tigers, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Monday. Everything went their way against Addison on Friday as Meek made off with a 60-38 win. This was payback for Meek, who suffered a 55-21 loss the last time these two teams met.
Meek found their leader in underclassman Aleah Addison, who scored 30 points. That makes it six consecutive games in which Addison has scored at least 25% of Meek's points.
Meek's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-3. As for Addison, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.
Meek won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Winston County at 4:30 p.m. on December 16th. Hopefully Winston County focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Friday. Addison will be home for the holidays to greet Curry at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Curry is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.
