Lone Star had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came out on top against the Vanguard Classical East Hawks by a score of 2-0.

Jade Kuntz paced Lone Star's offense, picking up seven kills. Kuntz got some help from Grace Cochran and her 14 assists. Paityn Forry controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Lone Star's victory bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Vanguard Classical East, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-11.

Lone Star has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Springfield on the 18th. As for Vanguard Classical East, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Denver Waldorf on the 18th.
