It was a good run, but the Georgetown G-Men unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Monday. They were beaten by Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy 63-23. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Georgetown has scored all season.
When it comes to explaining why Georgetown lost, one person who can't be blamed is Emily Bertram. Despite the final result, she scored 11 points.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Georgetown struggled to work together and finished the game with only four assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Georgetown's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Georgetown will be home for the holidays to greet Miami Valley Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy will take on Summit Country Day at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Summit Country Day will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 386th, while Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy is ranked 165th).
