Basketball Recap: Baker Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Baker entered their tilt with Pendleton on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Pendleton Buckaroos by a score of 37-30. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 43-31 back in January.

Baker's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-8. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.7 points per game. As for Pendleton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-15.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Baker will square off against La Grande at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. La Grande will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Baker surely won't give up without a fight. As for Pendleton, they will face off against Ontario at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Pendleton is facing Ontario at the right time seeing as Ontario is stuck on a 13-game losing streak.
