Southaven (Miss.) put up 15 points in the fourth quarter in Saturday's game to seal their 29-6 victory over
Horn Lake (Miss.).
The Chargers were up 7-6 at the half after taking the lead on a touchdown in the second quarter.
Southaven expanded its lead to eight points entering the fourth quarter. SHS's lone score in the quarter came on a
Shea Chism touchdown pass to
Terence Davis.
The Chargers put up 15 points in the fourth quarter en route to the win. Southaven rushed for two touchdowns on the ground during the quarter, including one by
Tedrick Wiggins.
SHS's standout player in the win was Davis. He caught one touchdown.
Coming into the game the Chargers had allowed 18.6 points per game this year. The defense really stepped up, holding the Eagles right around their season average of 7.3 points scored per game.
Last season's game between the teams resulted in a 55-19 win for SHS.
