The McQueen Lancers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 48-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of Reno. McQueen was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Reno apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.
McQueen lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Caitlin Hilson, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 14 rebounds. Hilson has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more rebounds the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Camilla Carlson, who scored 11 points.
McQueen has been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 14 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-17 record this season. As for Reno, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-14.
McQueen does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Reno also has no future games currently scheduled.
