After a string of four wins, Moose Lake/Willow River's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They were dealt an 82-51 loss at the hands of the Cherry Tigers. The game marked the Rebels' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Moose Lake/Willow River's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Cherry, the win keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Moose Lake/Willow River and Warroad will round out the year against one another at at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Warroad's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Cherry, they will challenge Superior at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
