Rains's tournament run continued when they took on Timpson on Thursday. Couldn't have asked for a better way to wrap up 2024 than the 57-27 stomp they got against the Timpson Bears. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 22 points or more this season.

Rains' win bumped their record up to 17-3. As for Timpson, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 8-10 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rains will challenge Sulphur Springs at 1:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Timpson, they will take on Gary at 2:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
