Baseball Recap: Andrews Extends Winning Streak to Four

Andrews won the last time they faced Pecos and things went their way on Friday too. The Mustangs came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 8-4. The win was familiar territory for the Mustangs, who have now won four matchups in a row.

Kade Adams tossed a big game, tossing six innings while giving up four earned runs off six hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Daylon Jefcoats, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Evan Munoz, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one triple.

Andrews always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .516. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Andrews' record now sits at 15-10. As for Pecos, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season.
