Montview recap September 4, 2013
Duarte moved up to 742 from 785 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Montview. The Falcons climbed the ranks as a result of topping Valley Christian 28-24.
Workman lost to Notre Dame 42-6 last week, the largest margin of any game. Andre Long was a bright spot for the Lobos, as he caught 2 passes for 88 yards in the loss.
Isaiah Davis was the best running back in the league this week. In 16 carries, he ran for 185 yards as Ganesha fell to the Titans.
Davis provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Giants lost to Keppel.
Long was the best receiver in the league this week as Eric MacIntyre's team fell to Notre Dame.
The Lobos' Jorge Galvan and Long have formed a dream team this season, leading Montview in both passing and receiving yards. Ganesha's Davis leads the league in rushing yards with 185.
Duarte and the Crusaders played the closest game in the league this week, with Duarte eventually emerging with a 28-24 victory.
