After a string of six wins, The St. Bonaventure Seraphs''s good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell just short of Oaks Christian by a score of 13-10. Despite 102 more yards than Oaks Christian, St. Bonaventure couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.
Koen Glover and DJ Doss certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Glover gained 95 total yards and a touchdown, while Doss picked up 48 receiving yards.
St. Bonaventure's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Oaks Christian, their win was their third straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 8-2.
St. Bonaventure will head out on the road to face off against Etiwanda at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in California (Etiwanda is ranked 50th, while St. Bonaventure is ranked 63rd). As for Oaks Christian, they will play host again and welcome Chaparral, where Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The last three games Chaparral has played have been within five points, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
