East is 1-9 against the Fighting Irish since December of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. East will look to defend their home court against the Ursuline Fighting Irish at 6:15 p.m. Ursuline took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on East, who comes in off a win.
Last Wednesday, in a tight match that could have gone either way, the made off with a 1-0 victory over the Dragons. The win was just what the needed coming off of a 52-17 defeat in their prior contest.
Meanwhile, Ursuline was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Thursday as they fell 48-42 to the Tigers. Ursuline has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
The now have a winning record of 9-8. As for Ursuline, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-10.
