After having lost a blowout in their previous game against South-Doyle, Lenoir City was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Harriman Blue Devils with a sharp 13-4 win. Considering the Panthers have won nine contests by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Lenoir City got a massive performance out of Kylee Hanson, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. Those five RBI gave Hanson a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Sophie Reed, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two doubles.
Lenoir City moved to 13-9 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Harriman, they dropped their record down to 8-12 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.
