Wayne County found their leader in underclassman Cayman Camfield, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and 15 rebounds. Camfield has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last three times he's played. Sayler Skelton was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with eight rebounds.
Huntland's loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 8-9. As for Wayne County, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-8.
Huntland will head out on the road to take on Moore County on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Tennessee (Huntland is ranked 309th, while Moore County is ranked 314th). As for Wayne County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Collinwood at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Wayne County focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 on Tuesday.
