Volleyball Recap: Bath Picks Up Second Consecutive Victory

Stockbridge came into Saturday's matchup looking for another win against Bath, but Faith Hughes wouldn't allow it. The Fighting Bees were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Panthers on Saturday thanks in part to Hughes, who had 17 digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last three games she's played.

The victory made it two in a row for Bath and bumps their season record up to 9-1. As for Stockbridge, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Coincidentally, Bath and Stockbridge will both be playing Portland the next time they take the court. The Fighting Bees will head out to face the Raiders at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, while the Panthers will play them later in the day, at 9:00 p.m.
