Tri-County North can attribute much of their success to Leinani Garcia, who went 13 for 25 on her way to 29 points in addition to seven assists and seven boards, and Bella Cherry, who went 9 of 15 on her way to 20 points along with eight boards and seven assists. With that strong performance, Cherry is now averaging an impressive 15.5 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Chloe Jackson, who posted four points and five boards.
They weren't the only one working in the assists department: Tri-County North was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in January.
Meanwhile, Eaton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a blow against Waynesville, falling 77-39.
