It was a good run, but Brookland-Cayce unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gray Collegiate Academy War Eagles. Considering the last time Brookland-Cayce couldn't score was back in February, the team can't take the result too hard.

Brookland-Cayce's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Gray Collegiate Academy, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 11-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brookland-Cayce will take on Airport on Monday. Brookland-Cayce are facing Airport at the right time seeing as Airport are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Gray Collegiate Academy, they will face off against Woodland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Gray Collegiate Academy will be up against Woodland's rather soft defense (which has allowed 5.27 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
