Cornerstone Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their 14th straight  defeat  dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Stephens Roadrunners 78-39.

The  matchup was  Powell's 12th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Cash Powell, who  went 10 of 17  on his way to 22  points.
Cornerstone Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Stephens, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won five of their last six games,  which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record  this season.
 Cornerstone Christian will have a little extra prep time after the  defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Stephens at 7:00  p.m.  on January 16, 2025. Stephens has already played their next contest,  a  70-61  win against New Life Christian Academy on the 6th.
