The Sumner Spartans will square off against the Spanaway Lake Sentinels at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Sumner is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.6 runs per game this season.
Sumner not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since April 15th (when they won 12-0). Everything went their way against Curtis as they made off with a 15-3 victory. The Spartans' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Spanaway Lake, their loss dropped their record down to 0-17.
