Roxbury suffered a letdown when it was bounced from the state Top 25 this week after beating West Morris Mendham. The Gaels had been ranked 20th, but fell to 35.
The Minutemen moved up to 229 from 255 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Northwest Jersey - National. West Morris Mendham was able to make the jump by falling to Roxbury 43-0.
Parsippany Hills's dynamic duo of Tyler Simms and Tommy Bluj proved tough for Delbarton to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Simms threw for 170 yards and one touchdown and Bluj had 67 yards receiving. Kire Milevski helped Parsippany Hills' passing attack out by catching four balls for 55 yards.
Jamie White was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 116 yards on 17 carries as the Green Wave fell to the Green Wave. Asad Braswell also contributed to the rushing game with 87 yards on the ground.
Parsippany Hills' Simms and Milevski have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Simms has thrown for 975 yards this season, while Milevski, a 6-foot-0 receiver, has 30 catches for 391 yards. Donald Panciello from Cosmo Lorusso's team leads the league in rushing with 743 yards.
The top two teams in Northwest Jersey - National will face off this week when first place Roxbury takes on second place Randolph. Last week, the Gaels defeated Doug Kirk's team, while Randolph topped Morristown.
Delbarton extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating David Albano's team, 31-10. The victory was the fifth in a row for the team.
