The West Valley Eagles won the last time they faced the Paradise Bobcats, and things went their way on Saturday too. West Valley blew past Paradise 80-50 on the road. That 80-50 margin sets a new team best for West Valley this season.
It was another big night for Chase Kalnins, who dropped a double-double on 28 points and ten rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of West Valley's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Weston Kibler, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds.
The victory got West Valley back to even at 6-6. As for Paradise, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Valley and Shasta will face off at 7:30 p.m. on December 19th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Shasta is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. Paradise will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Live Oak at 7:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024.
