Brayden Harris made a big impact no matter where he played. He pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one RBI.
In other batting news, Nick Bowden was a standout: he went 1-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. TJ Sunderhaus was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-4.
St. Johns Country Day always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .567. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Christ's Church Academy only posted an OBP of .333.
